Had a weird dream last night.
I had this dream that I was someone else (which happens a lot to me) and I was married and had my suburban life with my wife and kid. We were visiting friends in Oregon that we haven't seen in a while. It's a summer day. The day is going fine and we're watching movies in the second level of the house while our kids are playing in the front yard. After the movie is over we get into a conversation and the kids of the friends want to start playing 'the game'.
Me and my 'wife' are confused so our friends start explaining what the game is about. Apparently is this uber game of hide and seek. One person has to hide and everyone else needs to seek. Sort of like a manhunt. Anyway, we take turns and once we find the person thats 'it', we switch to another person, and the next person starts out in the place where the last person was found. We play the game and the adults sort of start boasting of how great they were in hide and seek when they were kids.
Being the nice person that I am, I start talking smack about how they're never gonna find me when my turn is up.
My turn comes up. I start out in the same place that we found my friend's kid and it's suddenly winter. Of course, 'I' don't react at all to it but act as though everything is normal. So ya I crouch down behind the house hiding in the snow. Then my cell phone rings and I hear voices coming from the front of the house. The sneaky bastards tried to call my cell phone to find me. So then I say to myself 'it's not gonna be that easy...' and I start running my ass off.
I continue to run and as I'm running the season changes again and now its summer. I went around to some ghetto ass neighborhood and I start to relax a bit. Thinking that they won't find me I start looking around and remembering to make sure I know my way back. I go around the corner and the scene changes again into the same summer day but it's now a Caribbean island setting (sort of like Dominican Republic), and it's a bar/restaurant in the beach. I decide to get a beer and go the bathroom. The people start looking at me 'cause I was standing out (did I mention I was a white guy in the dream?), so I start to leave.
On my way out, I see my 'wife' and my friend's wife walking together and I think to myself "how the FUCK did they find me??". Then I start RUNNING again and I'm bursting through all these doors running for dear life like it's a life or death situation (I don't know exactly why I took the game so seriously). I run into this fisherman's store. He looks very weird and creepy, real zombie like. Like those creepy vendors you see in movies. The merchant from RE4 is a perfect example, only more diseased looking. He's pretty pissed at the fact that I burst in and asks me to leave. On my way out I see one of his 'wares', a small stingray that's swimming through the air low to the ground. It looked like it was hovering.
As I finally leave the store I look around and my wife and friend's wife is around the corner so I start RUNNING again. As I turn another corner my real life cell phone rings and I wake up (the same people that have been trying to talk to my mom for the past week non-stop even though they're calling my cell phone). I woke up sort of gasping for air and it felt like I was dumb tired.
So ya...that was my crazy ass dream of the week. What do you guys think?
I know, long ass journal entry, but as you can see, lot of stuff to describe.
